According to our sources, a consortium of two entrepreneurs, specialized in the family segment, has acquired the ownership of the hotel complex called “Le Conchiglie”, a structure that had been in a stalemate for quite some time.
The former Hotel Le Conchiglie is located in Riccione, it used to have 150 rooms, a swimming pool, meeting rooms and 2 restaurants (with respective capacities of 400 and 180 seats).
Back in 2019, the complex had already been subject of a major redevelopment study which involved an investment of EUR 20 million to make it one of the largest hotels on the Riviera.
The building intervention, whose plan would have needed to be approved by the municipality of Riccione by the summer of 2020, involved the hotel area (approximately 13,500 square meters), whose building, once renovated, was supposed to bring the room offer up to 198 keys (582 beds).
